Cisco Cius, Android based-Tablet Portable Device

We are now living in an era of tablets, ranging from iPad, iPed (the clone from China), WePad renamed to WeTab, Dell Streak, the up-coming HP Slate, and more tablet PCs to come. Cisco, well known as a supplier of computer network now is launching an Android-basic new tablet that is called Cisco Cius.

This Cisco Cius tablet aimed to mobile-collaborating has virtual desktop integration, Cisco, to communicate through HD video. With 1.15 lbs or only 0.5 in weigh, this portable device is interesting because of the stuffed varieties of tools to collaborate like HD video streaming, multi party conferencing, email, messaging, browsing, telepresence (Cisco Quad, WebEx and AnyConnect Security VPN Client) and also its ability to make, and edit many contents that are locally stored or that are in the cloud.

This 7 inches screen Cisco Cius is smaller than common netbook that usually have 10 inch screens. In front part of this tablet is equipped with 720 p HD camera to display up to 30 frames per second. Other features that Cisco Cius has are Wifi, accelerometer, releasable battery, and 5 Mp camera in the back part of the tablet. Moreover, Cisco Cius is supported with Bluetooth-keyboard, Bluetooth-mouse and the docking station with its telephone device. This Cisco Cius even supports the 3G/4G connection.

This device will enhance the communication between the students and the teachers or the workers with their colleagues better than just a cell phone or even the remote-access computer. So, this Cisco Cius is designed for the corporate and education market.
