Chocolate Boosts Brain Functions
Chocolate lovers, rejoice! Latest research indicates that enjoying a milk chocolate bar will boost the brain functions. Point is, variants of chocolate or any cake, any chocolate cake, but don’t be too much. There is no good with the excess.

“Chocolate contains many elements that can be stimulants like theobromine, phenethylamine, and caffeine,” said Bryan Raudenbush of Wheeling Jesuit University, West Virginia.

From the previous research, it is believed that the elements in chocolate can strengthen consciousness and to stay focus. This research’s result shows that consuming chocolate can lead to stimulant effects that will improve mental performance.

Raudenbush and friends stated that the research on the brain’s functions was done to a number of volunteers who consumed chocolate in some variants. This research was done in four separated activities; the first group consumed 85 grams of chocolate milk bars, the second group consumed 85 grams of dark chocolate bars, the third consumed 85 grams of carobs and the last group, the fourth group did not consume any chocolate at all.

After fifteen minutes, the volunteers in this research underwent some neurophysychologic thests that were designed to see the cognitive performances together with the memory, concentrations, reacting ability, and the ability to solve problems.
