Michael Jackson Glove, sold for US$190,000

The crystal-decorated glove owned by the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson was sold in an auction in the United States for US$190,000.

An amount of almost US$ 1 million was resulted by the auction of around two hundreds of Michael Jackson’s belongings. One of them was the glove worn by Jackson when he was having a Victory tour in 1984.

The auction was held at Julien’s Auction in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas at the weekend. Some things were sold tenfold better at price than what was estimated.

“This shows that Michael Jackson’s belongings were the celebrities’ belonging that were mostly hunt, a phenomenon,” says Darren Julien, the person behind the auction, to Last Vegas Review Journal.

“People came from around the world, like Asia, Rusia and from everywhere. With the death of Michael Jackson, we came to realize that we have lost a true legend.”

It seems that Michael Jackson’s belongings are increasing in values. One of them is the glove that was bought for US$49.000 at the auction just after his death, at September 2009.

A pair of Michael Jackson’s shoes that he wore at the stage, was estimated to reach US$2,000 and US$3,000 but then shockingly, it was bought up to US$90,000

A jacket was sold US$120,000 even though it was first estimated to reach only about US$6,000 and US$8,000. A fedora hat of his was sold for US$56.250.
